The box is well made and deep enough for placing thicker items in it. It was purchased to make a remembrance shadow box for our beloved dog, Jake. It also had a lavender/cedar type scent to it. It truly is perfect.If you want a true 8x10 frame this isn’t it. My pieces of 8x10” papers were too big. It fit the outside measurements. Do not buy if you want to fit without cropping your images.Besides the meticulous packaging, the product is exactly what I wanted and exactly as advertised. It is perfect for my art work...making shadow boxes from different ideas, nature, etc. Very pleased with my purchase.Bought the off white distressed for an award for my son. Love that it came with pins but. The pins do not go all the way in. I did not want to pin the certificate so we had to angle the pins to almost get the effect we want, it still has wiggle room.Love that you can change the depth of the glass. No damage on our corners that others are reporting.There is only one bracket for hanging installed and it is to hold it vertically when we need it in landscape but we will work out magic, just be prepared if you need it that way as wellBoth the inside frame and the outside frame were NOT ATTACHED at 2 corners. I had to glue them myself and clamp them overnight. Other than that, it's actually quite lovely, easy to work with, and the finish is nicely ''roughed up'' for that rustic look on the blue anyway. Real tempered glass, and good weight and solidity once the glue set. The spacious inside depth is definitely worth it if you're not using super thin items. This would be great for preserved bouquets, memorabilia, etc. Even antique items at around 2'' deep. For the price, definitely worth it and the bit of glue!Finally, a real wood shadow box that is nice and affordable! Not one of those cheaply made plastic ones. I ordered the 8x10 to create a 3D card stock beach scene, of my parents, with led lights (lights bought separately). It was perfect and I definitely would order this shadow box again!I love this! the color, the size, its so pretty !I am really happy with my new shadow box! Which I did not. I specifically ordered the black frame. What I got looks nothing like the finish in the photos the seller put for the ad. The frame I got is painted in some horrible chalky mat finish and had some edges scraped off. But it doesn’t look purposely distressed; it looks like a really bad paint job with the wrong paint/stain and then someone kicked it around the warehouse for “funsies”. Maybe if this was only $20, I would repaint it myself, but for $40 I expect a lot more.I needed a safe way to hang a porcelain plaque since I live in an earthquake zone and this was perfect. There is a lot of space on the box. The tacks were pretty useless for me but I have a wall hanging kit and was able to secure my item with it. The screw screwed in petty nicely to the piece. It hangs securely on my wall and acts as a little mini shelf.Package arrived with box badly damaged, luckily inside item box survived the beating. The frame is ok, but not the best quality, nor is it sturdy. One corner is apart. I have decided if I will keep and try and fix it myself, or send back. Considering that, not worth the money.The product itself is very nice. The instructions on how to use it were very clear and it looks nice.The packaging could be better. One of the frames was damaged on the corner as the packaging consisted of thin bubble wrap and a thin cardboard box.It's suitable for my needs, but it arrived with one of the corners coming apart. It's too much hassle to go through the process of returning it for a new one, so I fixed the corner.
