Update (9/25/22):I sent an email to customer support requesting a return/refund and received a reply asking what issues I’m having because they want to help. I replied with the issues I mentioned here and asked them to let me know how to return the box.IF YOU CHOOSE TO TRY THIS BOX, ORDER PRIME THROUGH AMAZON. It will be an easier return process, and you won’t be charged return shipping. I don’t yet know what this experiment is going to ultimately cost me in return shipping charges and any other fees they decide to impose. I will continue to update this review on the return process.Update (9/18/22):This box is going back. The tines of the sifter consistently make a mess of the litter clumps and the handle that you pull feels like it’s going to break every time I pull the sifter through the litter. It has definitely been good at containing smells (even better than my litter robot), but that’s the only plus. Unfortunately, the exorbitant cost is simply not justified for the product quality.————————————————————————I just received this box today. I had purchased it when there were no reviews, so didn’t have anything to go on, but here are a few noticings.This box is not worth the price. It seems a bit flimsy and I’m concerned that the plastic working pieces inside won’t hold up to large ‘loads’ left behind by my kitties.When I first ran the scooper/tines through fresh litter, it took quite a bit of it into the waste bin. This was just after pouring clean litter into the box during setup. To remedy this, I placed a small plastic piece under the front edge to elevate the front of the box. That, along with ‘pumping’ the handle/scooper instead of just raking it straight through, is preventing as much clean litter from making it into the bin. It’s working okay for now, but I’m not sure the mechanism will hold up to that for the long term.Ultimately, I don’t know that I’ll keep this box. I have a Litter Robot and was looking for something that could replace it since I’m tired of the LR faulting all the time, stopping mid-cycle, etc. but I don’t know that this is going to be the solution. I’m giving it a fair trial period though and will update this review accordingly!
